October 26, 1955 -  March 14, 2017

Elena passed away surrounded by the love of her family in her home on March 14, 2017 at the age of 61. Loving wife of Jon and beloved mother to Theodora, Olivia, and Gabriella. Elena was a cherished French teacher at Father Frederick McGinn Elementary School and a treasured friend to many. Elena will be sadly missed by her sister, Chirata, niece, Ana-Maria, nephew, Daniel, as well as her brother, Stere and his wife Elisabeta. The family will receive friends at the York Funeral Centre – 160 Beecroft Road, North York, ON M2N 5Z5 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday March 16, 2017, and service and internment at the York Funeral Centre and Cemetery on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.

I have great memories of your mum. Where do I start.. She would drive us to wonderland almost every weekend. Pile all the kids in her van that always smelled so good. She had an air freshner that looked like a perfume bottle stuck to her dashboard.
...Every time I see the perfume Tresor (Lancôme) to this very day, I think of her.
Aaaaaand We never went hungry at your place as kids. Lol. So many memories of her.
