Eldon Berkley Milley, age 79, passed away peacefully March 29, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Eldon was born in Burnt Point Newfoundland to Archibald and Irene Milley and in 1969 he married his long-time friend and love, Brenda Ann. Eldon was devoted to his family and will be dearly missed by his two children, Terry (Sue), Darlene (Mark); grandchildren, John, Finn, Keats; and step-grandson Matthew. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Roy (Maxine), Beatrice (late husband Frederick) Tucker, Calvin (Marion), Jethro (Julia) and Jane (Bill) Morgan; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Eldon moved to Scarborough as a young adult and had a lengthy career with Ontario Hydro. Although his permanent home was in Ontario, Eldon frequently went back to the East Coast to visit friends and family in Cape Breton and Newfoundland. He was an avid car enthusiast and gifted story teller, amusing everyone he came across with tales that “could be true”.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Sunnybrook Hospital and Providence Healthcare for their care and compassion. As per his wishes and due to current Covid restrictions a memorial service for Eldon will be held at a later date.
