Elaine died peacefully on January 14th, 2022 at Tyndall Nursing Home. She will be remembered lovingly by her husband of 64 years, David, children, Pauline and Ian (wife Brianne), and granddaughter, Sara (partner James).

Elaine was an elementary school teacher with TDSB and the Burlington School Board. Elaine was also a keen traveler, visiting Australia, much of Europe, Russia, and Africa. An enthusiastic sportswoman, she played tennis at Applewood Tennis Club and curled at Dixie Curling Club. Elaine also took part in the Meadowvale Theatre group.

Elaine was my North, my South, my East and West. My working week, my Sunday rest. My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song. I thought that love would last forever; I was wrong.
