It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother on Monday, September 25, 2017 in her 99th year at Scarborough Hospital. Effie is now at peace with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Predeceased by her husband Serafim, brother Elias and sister Irene. She is survived by her children: John (Roula), Angelos (Jo) and Louis (Colleen), grandchildren: David (Lana), Simon (Isabel), Sarah (Ash), Kimberley (Andy), Jordan and great-grandchild Audrey. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Sophia and her many family members and friends. Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Thursday, September 28, 2017 visitation 10-11 a.m. Funeral Service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pioneers Canada, Zontas Television Ministry or AMG Canada.
