Passed away suddenly on Saturday December 30, 2017 at the age of 73.

Devoted husband of Marcelline (nee Brunka). Dear father of Janine and Rebecca (Robert). Cherished grandfather of Katrina, Kevin, Megan, Ayden and Nicole. Beloved brother of Joanne. Best friend of Milo.

Grandpa will be fondly remembered for his incredibly entertaining stories, his love of the outdoors and his passions of flying, fishing and riding his motorcycle.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation or Pickering Animal Services would be appreciated.

Ed was a different kind of character. When he put his mind to catching fish, nothing would stop him - thin ice, big waves, freezing temperatures and crazy winds were not deterrents.

In his way, he tried to do his best.

How far we go back, Becky wasn't born yet. Ed and Ron met at the new jewelly factory and became instant friends for both where fishing buddies. I met Marcee shortly after that . We where always there for each other. Even though I live in Europe I always visit with each other when I come to Canada. Marcee was there when I needed her most . My heart is with her. Love you always your friend Ella
