FATHER
You can only love one father, patient, kind and true
No other friend in all the world will be so true to you
For all his kindness, he asks nothing in return
If all the world deserted us, to my father we would turn
To those that have a father, treasure him with care
For you will never know his value, until you see his vacant chair

Granda was the best grandfather to me and my brother Patrick, and he was the best great-grandfather to my son Thomas. We will miss him every day, and we will cherish all the wonderful memories we have of him in our hearts. We love you, Granda.

Your father was a lovely man. I have very fond memories of him. Always smiling and ready to tell us a joke. Such a sweet man . I’m so sorry we are not in Canada to attend funeral. Our love and sincere condolences for your loss.

To the best great grandfather,
I will always cherish the summers spent with you, the lessons you taught me and the person you helped raise. I will miss fixing the tv for you and helping you clean the windows that only I could climb to reach. I will never forget the words you said to me every time I first entered the house.. “there’s my first great grand daughter!” Always excited to see me and hear new stories about Boneca. I will always hold our prayer time deep in my heart. You taught me how to be a good Catholic and to never lose faith. You taught me how to say the rosary and to always see good in people. You and grandmama taught me to be the person I would want to look up too. I wish you and grandmama could see me today and what I’ve accomplished, but I know you both will be looking out for me and cheering me on as I complete my schooling and continue growing into the wonderful woman you taught me to be. I hope you and your beautiful wife are enjoying life together once again. I look forward to being with you both again one day.

Love,

Your first great grand daughter, Nylda.

I will always remember the summers spent with you and nana, Gerard Square, house parties and of course the beautiful voice heard singing around the house. Master of the spoons and what a great sense of humour, Granda always had a story to tell. I will always hold these memories and the lessons you taught me deep in my heart. As the first grand daughter, you showed me so much and you always made me proud to be a part of this family. I can only hope to follow and mirror your kindness, understanding and your love for life. Your memory will truly live on through us

Love you always, say hi to nana xo

I wish to extend my sincerest sympathy to the family of Edward. Know that he and you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of bereavement as you mourn his passing.
Mr. Fleming was a man of great faith and beamed with joy when he spoke of his Saviour, His Mother, and the Saints which he emulated. It was a blessing and a rewarding experience to have known him. I have no doubt that he is making his journey home and will experience eternal peace.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
