In memory of

Edward Christopher Roberts

January 23, 1955 -  March 31, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Christopher "Daddio" Roberts announces his passing on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 at the age of 63 years. Chris will be lovingly remembered by his children David (Cyan) and Elizabeth (Robert), and his partner and love, Marylou. He also leaves behind his three grandchildren Harry, Luke and Finn, sisters Diane (Charles) and Catherine (Garry), his cherished Aunt Barbara, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Chris will be remembered for his quick wit, loving soul, and enthusiasm for life (and particularly cars). His spirit was strong until the end, and he passed without pain or discomfort, well surrounded by friends, family and loved ones. Special thanks to the staff at Sunnybrook Hospital for their care, and the needed comfort provided in his final days.

Chris was one of a kind......always looking for "fun" He had a kind heart...and a memorable "laugh" that could tickle all around him. He used to bring food to my aging mom out of the kindness of his heart..........and do random jobs for her without thinking twice about it. As a boy......he was what we called a "scalliwag" always finding harmless trouble in his adventures with his buddies....and he enjoyed the thrill of "retelling" the adventure !!! Chris was always there for friends who were in trouble......lending an ear or a hand to them.....and never asking for anything in return. He will be missed.xo

I have many fond memories of Chris from our youth. Chris was always full of energy, fun and mischief. You knew you were going to have a good time with Chris. We often took things apart and never quite got them back together again. Chris was also often in trouble with his mother.
I was so sad to hear of Chris' death - far too young and lots more for him to do.
My thoughts and prayers are with Chris, his family and friends.
