Eduardo Carlos Jorge, 79, of Mississauga, Ontario, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital. He was born in Foz do Arelho, Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, where he grew up with his seven brothers and sisters before coming to Canada in 1968.

Eduardo was a Labourer for nearly 40 years for Orlando Corporation of Mississauga, and retired over 16 years ago. Eduardo loved life, and was devoted to his family, he travelled back to his native Portugal every year while his health permitted to visit family and reconnect with friends.

Beloved husband of 48 years of Maria Jose Jorge; devoted and loving father of Brian Jorge (wife Maggie), his daughter Loriann Domingos (husband Cristiano); cherished grandfather of Matthew, David, Andrew, Makayla, Alexa, and Lucas; also survived by his 2 two sisters Lurdes and Maria Isabel, many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

Due to the restrictions recently placed on occupancy in public spaces by the Province of Ontario in the ongoing efforts to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Eduardo’s funeral arrangements are private.

The family would like to thank all of the wonderful health care professionals at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga, for all their hard, work, dedication and support over the last 5 months.
