In memory of

Eduarda Do Couto Oliveira

April 11, 1952 -  December 9, 2025

Beloved spouse of 51 years to Abilio, mother of Sylvia (Adam), Karen (Nuno) and Janice (Christopher), as well as adored grandmother to Aria, Cassia, Aiden and Abigail. Eduarda passed away at home at 73 years of age after a courageous battle with cancer.

Eduarda emmigrated from Ribeira Seca, Sao Miguel in 1964 with her mother, sister and brother joining her father and other siblings already in Canada. In 1974 Eduarda married her beloved husband Abilio and soon built a loving home for their three daughters in Brampton.

Eduarda is remembered lovingly as a kind, generous and nurturing person to her children and all those she encountered, as well as the many animals, tamed and wild, that she loved.

Her memory, especially her love of gardening and all animals, but especially cats, will endure in her daughters, grandchildren, and all who loved her.

Viewing on December 11 at Meadowvale Funeral Centre from 4-8 PM. Funeral at 1 PM at Our Lady of Fatima Church on December 12, followed by internment at Assumption Cemetery, and then reception from 4-6 at Meadowvale Funeral Centre.

My deepest condolences. I was heartbroken to hear about your mom. We’ve known each other since we were kids, and I always remember her as a classy woman, she always looked so well put together and took pride in her home. Even as an adult anytime she me she would always ask about my children and how my parents were. I hope you find comfort in the memories. May God bless your mother, and bless your family.
