Edith Gibson passed away peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital on July 26, 2022, at the age of 88. Beloved mother of predeceased Charmaine Banister, predeceased Gene Banister and Kenrick Hamlet. Grandmother of nine - Aleshia, Kevin, Tevin, Skai, Ciara, Keston, Aerlaia, Kazha and Moesha and great grandmother of two.

Edith will be missed by her siblings – Arthur(deceased), Esme, Elaine, George(deceased), Joyce, Adeltris, Eileen, Claude, Pamela, Elias(deceased) and Ifill and all her nieces and nephews. She loved the church and giving praise to God every day. She has enjoyed travelling the world, she was an amazing Seamstress, loved knitting/crocheting, needlepoint, walking and so much more.

Born in in Trinidad & Tobago, her parents were Lily and George Hamlet. She completed her studies and moved to England and later settled in Canada where she was worked as a Technician at Mount Sinai Hospital until her retirement. Edith devoted her life to the Lord.

We will miss you, hoped you could be with us longer, but God wanted you up there with him in Paradise. Momma, Daddy, and your children are waiting for you with open arms. May your soul rest in eternal peace.
