It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Svelnis on July 10, 2018 at the age of 84. Predeceased by his beloved wife Helen (nee Sheridan). He is dearly loved and greatly missed by his children Joe, Jeannette (Mike), Angela, Andrew (Tracey). Loving Papa to Stephen, Lisa, Robert, Megan, Beth, Emily and Cameron.
Friends & family may visit at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 5 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow.

So saddened to hear of Ed's passing. Will miss his cheery greeting every day when Lorea and I walked by. I always felt safer in this neighbourhood knowing Ed was always keeping a watchful eye out on what was going on in the neighbourhood. May he rest in peace and may his family find solace in their memories.
