In memory of

Dwayne Adamson

April 2, 1978 -  June 5, 2019

Dwayne Selwyn Adamson was simply one of a kind and he had a beautiful soul. He was an amazing husband, son, brother and friend. He was honest, humble, kind and caring, which allowed him to make an impact on so many people. He made many connections that were meaningful and long lasting.

He was an incredibly strong person that fought until his very last day. Even in the worst of circumstances he remained positive and strove to make those around him laugh. He was a true beacon of positivity. His hilarious sarcasm, sense of humour, smile and uncontrollable infectious laughter will truly be missed.

His memory will live on forever in our hearts. We have lost a remarkable person, but heaven has gained an extraordinary angel with unprecedented fashion sense and style. I am sure you are dancing and laughing up a storm in heaven. 'Til the day we are once again reunited.

Rest in Peace Dwayne
Those that touch our lives stay in our hearts forever.

Our story began in December 2012 at a latin dance social. While making his way through the club, Dwayne noticed a new face on the dance floor. "What a cute looking Japanese girl," he thought to himself.

Later on that evening, after the two were introduced to each other by a mutual friend, Megan asked Dwayne to dance. Despite responding, "I don't really dance salsa." He obliged and the two had their very first dance. Little did they know it was a dance that would change their lives.

Megan and Dwayne continued to see each other at social events and immediately became friends. Less than a year later, the two became a couple... a dance couple in a student performance class. It was through this experience that they learned how well they worked together, in addition to their compatibility on and off the dance floor.

Dwayne retired from performing, but it was only fitting that he came out of retirement for the wedding. The dance partnership led to a romance, and this romance developed into a beautiful relationship and a loving marriage.
