My condolences to Tina, Tatjana, and family.
We are so sorry for your loss. You and your entire family are in our thoughts through this difficult time. Dusan sounds like a wonderful man, it’s too bad we never got to meet him. With love, Claude and Stephanie.
To Tina and to Dusan’s children and grandchildren, we are deeply sorry for your loss. Dusan was such a remarkable and intelligent man, and we too will miss him dearly as a good friend. About 8 years ago, we met Dusan and Tina by chance while we were enjoying the hot tub at our gym and recognized each other’s languages. From there we struck up a conversation about our similar backgrounds (all of us being from the former-Yugoslavia) and the rest, as they say, is history. We became good friends in our later years of life; a friendship built on mutual interests and respect for each other. We enjoyed many afternoons together at each other’s homes and at a local restaurant where we would meet regularly to have lively conversations about politics, our families, life back home, life in Canada, food, sports, healthy living, gardening and many other interesting subjects. We will always remember Dusan for his kindness, his sharp mind, his desire for healthy living, his commitment to family and, of course, his amazing garden which he tended to so nicely. May he rest in peace knowing that he leaves behind a beautiful family, that he nurtured all these years, to carry on his legacy.
Tina, Tatjana, Lazar, Wendy,Michael, Elena & Stefan.
