In memory of

Dr. Vera Perazic

January 7, 1928 -  April 7, 2020

It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of our beloved Vera Perazić. She was born in Derventa, Yugoslavia on the 7th of January 1928. She passed away quietly at the Sunnybrook Hospital on Tuesday April 7th 2020 at the age of 92.

Vera was well loved and adored by her friends and family here in Canada and abroad. She moved to Canada in 1995 along with her husband to live with daughter and her family after being exchanged to leave besieged city of Sarajevo. They spent the majority of the civil war in Sarajevo under pressure from being recognized members of Serbian community during prewar time. After joining the family in Canada Vera and her husband succeeded to organize their life, engaged locally and fully enjoyed freedom and safety of their new country.
Prim. dr. Vera Perazić worked as an Oftamolog in Sarajevo and was recognized by helping numerous patients across Bosnia.
Vera was a caring, loving, compassionate, humorous, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend who dedicated her life to the family, her profession and helping to others. She will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the York Funeral Centre (160 Beecroft Road, Toronto, 416-221-3404). Due to pandemic crises no visitation will be available. Service of Celebration of her life will be at her burial place where she will be laid down to join her husband late Stanko Perazić.
Family and friends are invited for expressing their salutations by non-direct means as we fully understand visitations to the burial place have been currently limited. Celebrations of her life are planned for times when pandemic is over for which we will inform our family and friends.

Nedostajaces nam mnogo!

Pocivaj u miru draga Vera.
Vole te Ruza i Mirjana Zelenkovic
