Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, April 17 at Sunnybrook Hospital. Stephen was a well-respected dentist who devoted his life to his family and friends with the utmost love, generosity and consideration. He was a caring and loyal husband, father and grandfather who created an amazing life for his family. He lived his 77 years with the kindest of hearts and was cherished by everyone who knew him.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 42 years, Penny, daughter Christine (David), son Jonathan (Kelly), daughter Serena (Peter) and granddaughter Amelia. He is also survived by his brothers Walter (Maria) and Andrew (June) as well as many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Friends and family will be received at the York Cemetery and Funeral Centre (160 Beecroft Road, North York, ON M2N 5Z5) on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 1-2 pm. Memorial service in the chapel will begin at 2 pm, followed by burial onsite and traditional Chinese funeral banquet at Century Palace Chinese Restaurant (398 Ferrier Street, Unit 168, Markham, ON, L3R 2Z5) at approximately 4 pm.
