In memory of

Douglas Thomas Charles Blunt

March 27, 1941 -  April 23, 2018

Doug Blunt passed away peacefully in the early hours of April 23, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer.

He is survived by his two children, Jason and Jennifer, and by his two younger brothers, Dennis and Daryl.

Doug was always proud of the 35 years that he spent working at Bell Canada, often drawing upon his experiences there to offer wisdom to others. He was beloved by his friends and family, whom he was always quick to help, regardless of what they needed.

Those who knew him best knew that his greatest passion in life was fishing. He spent as much time as he could traveling around southern Ontario on fishing trips, but always returned to his favourite place, East Lake on the Bay of Quinte when Bass and Walleye seasons started.

The Celebration of Life will be held at the Simply Alternative Funeral Centre on Sunday, April 29th, between 5pm and 8 pm. The family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
