Douglas George Wagg, 66, of Oshawa, Ontario, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa surrounded by his loving family.

Doug was a proud retiree of General Motors, beginning his career on the line, eventually completing his welding ticket and transitioning to supervisor after completing the Project Management Program at Durham College with honors. He was a brown belt in Karate, loved music and had a passion for photography. He enjoyed designing and building new projects but most of all he loved to travel and spend time with his family.

Douglas is survived by his three children, Crystal (Dwayne), Brandy (Phil) and Jay (Rachel), his four grandchildren, Dylan, Olivia, Ethan and Marabella, his mother Joan, and his two brothers Ralph (Joanne) and Lloyd (Sylvia). He is predeceased by his daughter Sara and his father Leslie.

He was an amazing father who will be sorely missed.

A celebration of life will take place on Monday, February 24, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Thornton Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres, 1200 Thornton Rd N, Oshawa, ON, L1J 0C9.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The family would like to give a special Thank You to the staff at Lakeridge Health for the incredible care and compassion we all received while there.
