In memory of

Douglas Frank Cannon
December 23, 1950- November 27th, 2016

After a sudden and unexpected illness, our beloved Doug passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Doug was adored by his loving wife and soul mate, Kimberly Diane Durand Cannon. He was the cherished son-in-law of Janet Durand, and beloved brother-in-law to Christine and Robert McColeman. Doug was the loving father of Natasha Blackmore and Jason Cannon, father-in-law to Tom Blackmore, and grandfather to Jordon Blackmore. Doug was a dear friend to Steve Winkler, Wayne Williams and Ashley, who is his invaluable assistant at Cando.

Doug had a personality larger than life which endeared him to people around the world. While brilliantly accomplished in his business Cando Credit Consulting, his most valued asset and the centre of his universe was his beautiful wife Kimberly. They enjoyed a lifetime of travel and adventure in the too few years they enjoyed together. Doug has left a forever impression in our lives and hearts. We love and miss you dear friend.

Family and Friends may call at the Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Friday December 2nd from 2-4 pm and 7- 9 pm. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 3rd at 2:30 pm followed by the interment.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of Doug Cannon be directed to the CrCU Unit in care of the Sunnybrook Foundation 2075 Bayview Ave. Suite KGW01, Toronto, Ontario M4N 3M5 416-480-4483

DEAREST KIM, JANET, CHRISTINE AND ROB,
WE EXPRESS OUR VERY DEEPEST SYMPATHY FOR THE SUDDEN AND VERY UNTIMELY LOSS OF YOUR BELOVED DOUG. IT WAS A VERY SAD AND SUDDEN SHOCK TO EVERYONE THAT KNEW HIM. DOUG FOUGHT COURAGEOUSLY AND KEPT UP HIS SPIRITS ALL THE WAY THROUGH HIS HEALTH ISSUES . WE ADMIRED DOUG FOR HIS KINDNESS, LOVE AND GENEROSITY TO ALL OF HIS LOVED ONES. DOUG WILL CERTAINLY BE MISSED BY EVERYBODY HE CAME IN CONTACT WITH. DOUG LIVED HIS SHORT LIFE TO THE FULLEST AND FOUND HIS HAPPINESS IN SHARING WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HE ENJOYED TRAVELLING AND EXPERIENCED MANY WONDERFUL TRIPS AND ADVENTURES THROUGHOUT HIS EXCITING LIFE. HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL BUT WILL REMAIN ACTIVE IN ''ATLANTIS HEAVEN '' KIM YOU AND DOUG ARE IN THE CORNER OF EACH OTHER'S HEARTS AND WILL REMAIN THERE UNTIL YOU ARE REUNITED FOREVER, YOUR ALL IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS AND IF THERE IS EVER ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO HELP REMEMBER WE WILL ALWAYS BE JUST AROUND THE CORNER.
LOVE AND BEST WISHES ALWAYS, TAKE CARE,
SANDRA AND WALTER WINKLER.

Dear Kim & Family.

Our condolences. We are saddened by the news of Doug's passing. He was very special to us as we've known him a long time. Great sense of humour in his own special way. He will definately be missed.

Kim, you & your Mother held a special place in Doug's heart. He always spoke very highly about both of you.

Love
Marilyn & Ron
