It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our kind and loving husband, brother, grandfather, father and son-in-law on Wednesday March 13, 2024. Doug will be sadly missed by his wife Barb, his sisters Joan Elliott (Bill Thoms) and Cathy Mirtic (Richard), sister-in-law Gail Milne, his step-daughter Kim Cochrane (Dwayne), his grandchildren Chase, Colton, Ella, and Jenna, his son Michael and his mother-in-law Muriel Wells.

Barb,
We were shocked and deeply saddened reading your email on your loss of Doug. Wish we could have met Doug face to face and play a game of golf rather than meeting him over ZOOM calls with you.
You are true, life time, friend so take some comfort in knowing how much we care about you and that we are only a call away. Hopefully we can lure you to the Island and share memories of the Good Old Days together. We send this to you with love, friendship, strength and an abundance of hugs!
