Doug Huson

February 16, 1965 - May 26, 2024

Doug Huson was a kind, witty, and supportive husband, father, son, and friend. Beloved by many, he was taken from us too soon - however, his legacy will live on with those that he impacted whether for one interaction or over a lifetime. He is survived by his wife, Angela, his son, Kyle, his parents Margaret and Barry, and his siblings Nancy, Bill, Kevin and David.

For those wishing to honour Doug, the family is accepting donations in his name to either the Tommy Thompson Park Foundation (one of his favourite walks in the city) or the Toronto Humane Society (to support his love of animals), links to donate included below:

To Angela and family.. we send heartfelt condolences at this difficult time. Doug’s passing was sudden and shocking. Both my son and I worked with him at different times and enjoyed trying to match his humour and quick wit. He will be missed.

Fly high, Doug! You were taken way too soon. 💔 😥🙏
You were a good man and always open to a fun time. We shared many good times at numerous corporate industry events. I especially have fond memories of our 'bad news bears' softball teams at the Dunmore Memorial Softball Tournaments. Good times that have become cherished 'forever memories'. May your family and friends find comfort in all the wonderful memories you brought them. Rest in peace, friend! 🙏
