WENBORN, Dorothy Dianne

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on May 27, 2020 at the age of 79. Loving mother of Kim Reilly (Guido Franchino), Karen Balsdon (Brian), and Doug Quan (Angela). The adored “Noni” of Greg (Sylwia), Aaron (Anna) & Maddie (Kevin), Kristy & James (Chelsea), Reid (Nichole) & Ylena (Alex). Great Grandmother of Malaya, Leyton & Danny, Avery, Tristan, Daria, Addison, and Layla. Cherished sister of Sandra, Chris and Mike. Dianne will also be dearly missed by her extended family…the staff and friends of Carriage House…and of course her fur baby “Beyonce”. She will be fondly remembered for her love of all persons, pets, and especially children. As per the family’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. A celebration of life will be planned in the future, when we can all venture out in socially acceptable patterns again. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted for PAWS (Peoples Animal Welfare Society. Business number 889165577RR0001). Arrangements entrusted to THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787).

I would first like to extend my condolences to Diannes’s family...her 3 beloved children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I first met Dianne as her primary nurse in the community years ago and we instantly connected, I loved every visit with her as her nurse, and eventually our inevitable friendship. Dianne was a vibrant, caring, giving, beautiful soul. I’m honored to have been a part of her life, through the good and bad, she always persevered and looked her best at it, with her sparkling blue eyes and the smile that always lit up a room, to her coloured hair tints to match her outfits, and her picks from Sally Ann’s, she always kept me smiling. I will miss you my friend, Rest In Peace Dianne, love you always. XOXO
