Dorothy Thelma Mars

March 15, 1930 - January 9, 2018

It is with immeasurable sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Thelma Mars of Whitby, Canada on January 9th 2018. Thelma was a long-time resident of Old Montrose and Rose Place before she moved to Canada.
Heartbroken at the loss of our mother and grandmother are children: Joel, Julian, Joanne, Joset and Jasel, (all in Canada) and Jeffrey (in the USA), thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, Son-in- Laws: Leroy Timm and Septon Linton , daughter-in-laws: Yolanda and Patricia. Missing Tanty Thelma are many nephews and nieces (including Silma Philips (in Canada).
She will be forever in our heart
The funeral service will be held at Hebrom Christian Reform Church on January Saturday 20th January 2018 at 10:30am

My heart is breaking so much right now. The only person I had is my corner when I was a child is now gone, and I'm extremely sad because since moving to USA I've been trying to find her. To find out that she is gone before I can see her is too much.

Words may not be sufficient to express the heartfelt sadness that the O’Garro Family in the USA and St. Vincent feel for the passing of Thelma. She was a very beloved friend of our mom, and it was truly a blessing having her in our lives. May the Lord comfort you all and please accept our condolences.
