After a terminal cancer diagnosis in December 2018, Dorothy's peaceful passing on January 15th, was the end of a beautiful existence that will be forever cherished by those whom she impacted, every day of her life. Dorothy's infectious smile and never ending sense of humour made it difficult to witness her 5 year struggle with Alzheimer's. But it was her perserverance and strong will that allowed her to hold on
and fight for as long and hard as she did. The unconditional love Dorothy had for her family will be sadly missed by those who survive her: daughters

Pre-deceased by her first love and husband of 50 years, Norman Janes (2002) and her second husband David Hair (2012) of 7 years. Pre-deceased by her sisters Leona, Lillian, (foster sister) Betty; and brothers Bob, John, and Charlie.
