Dorothy "Dot, Auntie Dorothy, Nan" Wells

January 19, 1925 - April 14, 2018

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that in the early morning of Saturday April 14th, in her own bed, Dorothy peacefully passed away in her sleep. A loving mother to Donna Lynn, she leaves behind beloved husband Kenneth; and cherished (and I mean cherished) grandson, Cole Daniel. Dot also leaves behind her only brother Jack and surviving cousins Audrey and June. Aunt Dot leaves many nieces and nephews and extended family who will miss her greatly.
Should family and friends desire, contributions can be made to a charitable donation of your choice OR you can select from the charities selected by Dorothy.

From the moment that I came into your daughters life you have always made me feel part of the family. You always had a smile on your face and could fill a room with your warmth. The time we had together I always enjoyed our conversations about the family and came away learning a little more each time. You have been a great roll model for your daughter and grandson and I know they loved you so very much. You asked me a very long time ago to take care of your daughter and grandson, to make sure no harm came to them and that they would be happy. Now that you are gone I want you to know that I will keep the promise I made to you. I hope you are in a good place and know that you will never be forgotten all my love Steve.

Aunt Dot was a part of my (Wendy Sue) upbringing for all those years. She and Ken were always there for special occasions. She had spirited and a great smile. While at piece and moving into another place, it is hard to let her go. Know that we including my Mum Audrie share the family pain of her loss.
