Mr. and Mrs. Scott always welcomed my daughters and I to celebrations and delicious dinners at their home. There was usually a good gathering of people and we would always enjoy playing cards once dinner was done.

Mrs. Scott was such a gracious host who genuinely appreciated everything and everyone around her. She lit up the room with her eternal optimism and sparkling presence and always made time to fulfill everyone’s needs and ensure everyone was happy.

My daughter Andrea was reflecting on the many memories she holds dear of Mr. and Mrs. Scott, and how she enjoyed learning how to play poker with the money she received by running to the fridge to get Fred his refreshments.

Such a strong and independent woman, Mrs. Scott amazed and inspires me to this day. My family is blessed to have had her in our lives for as long as we did.

Rest in peace, Mrs. Scott. You were truly an incredible woman!

Conversations with Aunt Dorinda were always filled with encouraging words, life lessons, interesting stories, kindness, and so much positivity. I will miss her, but remember all the happiness she broght to family, friends, and all who were a part of her life.
