August 6, 1927 - October 25, 2018

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Dhama at the age of 91 on Oct 25, 2018 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Anesti Dhama. Cherished mother to Athena (Martin), Peter (Carol), Marina (Tony) devoted Maja to Jon, Andrew, Justin, Katrina, Alexandra, Christian. Great grandmother to Marco, Thenie, Dino, Jacqueline, Luna. Caring sister to Nicholas, Costa, Alexandra, Thoma.
Caring aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Donna was born in Albania and immigrated to Australia as a young girl. She and her family moved to Canada in 1957 and settled on Mckee Avenue in Willowdale Ontario. Donna shared a love of cooking and gardening and of course having her family visits. Donna was always surrounded by her family and friends
A celebration of life will be held at York Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto Ontario. M2N 5Z5.

Our time together in Perth as children and then as cousins through our marriage will live with me forever. Whilst separated by distance, Donna was always in my heart and just a phone call away. I will cherish the time that I spent with Nesti and Donna during my visits to Canada. Fondest memories of times gone by another link in the chain broken.
Deepest sympathy to Athena, Peter, Marina and families at this very sad time from Aunty Mary, Peter, Faye Lyn, George and families.

Our mother was simply the most beautiful person. From her smile to her incredible sense of humour to the love she shared not only for her children but for all those around her. My sisters and I will always hold our mother close to our hearts. She had immeasurable effect on us growing up as children and right up until the day she passed.
I loved my mother and always will.
