Hi Donna,
I read about your dad in the paper today. My sincere condolences on your loss. I hope the end was peaceful and you and the kids were able to spend the time you wanted with him.
I will remember him as I knew him, a smart, accomplished, self-confident businessman and someone we looked up to as lowly teenagers.
All the best,
Sherry
Sad news to receive about Don's passing indeed. I always enjoyed my chats and time with Don. An insurance professional, he had one heck of a grapevine that enabled him to know what was happening in the industry before everyone else. The fabric of our lives cannot help but unravel a little bit more when we lose a friend, a character, and an entrepreneur like him.
Don was a wonderful person. My deepest condolences to the family for your loss.

I have such fond memories of you Uncle Don.
You had an infectious laugh and made people around you feel special.
Rest in Peace
XO
Don Smith was very much a man of his times. He was a respected businessman who always had time for a laugh, a game of golf or a good meal. His deep love for his family and pets is legendary. I was fortunate to have known Don for most of my life. I always admired his sense of humour, decency and joie de vivre. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Rest in Peace Mr Smith.
