Don was a kind, gentle man we enjoyed knowing many years as he married my Aunt Madeleine. He had a great mind and loved to talk about anything with my husband Hugh. His wit and general knowledge were appreciated. He enjoyed dancing and it was only 3 short years ago that he spun my Aunt around the dance floor at my cousin's wedding.
To my cousins and their kids we send condolences and sympathy. May your precious memories help you through this difficult time of grieving. To my Aunt, we send love and hugs.
Don will long be remembered with love by those who knew him.

A kind, patient and gentle man our Mr. Don was. His history was rich and full of accomplishments and brimming with friends. He joined our family 30 years ago and embraced us all. He took pleasure in watching his grandchildren arrive in this world and grow up before his eyes. He watched baseball games, hockey games, football, dance, cheerleading, attended graduations, weddings and family reunions with positivity and enthusiasm. Complaining was not in his nature nor his vocabulary, he was grateful for everything and everyone he had in his life. He was creative and innovative, a true inspiration for us all. When asked "how are you"? His answer without fail was "I'm great"! Yes, Mr. Don you were great! xoxo

Mr. Don, you are a Legend!!! How we will miss those stories and long talks. You always had a smile, right up until the end. Never complained about anything, always saw the world in the most positive note. You've been in our life for 30 years, our family was your family. Lots of memories, weddings, reunions, Park campfires. You always spoke of your grandchildren with such pride in your voice. Thank you for being part of our family, we will miss you dearly. Godspeed! xoxo

Ahh, Mr. Don. I don't have the words to express how sorry we are to say goodbye to you in this life. I do know though, that heaven will be a little livelier, and all the angels will be lined up waiting for a dance with you. You were such a caring person, and a great listener, (even though you loved to talk and tell stories ) that you had a lasting influence on those who knew you with your positive outlook on life. I seem to be remembering a book or quote that says "when someone hands you lemons, you make lemonade" they must have been talking about you. You were introduced to us 30 years ago and were always a joy to visit with. I would say rest in peace but I think dance up a storm is more appropriate ! With cherished memories, Linda and Bob
