DEPEW, DONALD Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday July 24, 2018 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Hill) for 64 years. Loving father of Brenda, Brian (Heidi), and Lisa (Paul). Cherished Grampa of Julia (Matthew), Joshua, Pamela, Ryan and Adam and Great Grampa to Noah and Olivia. Don will be sadly missed by his big sister Dorothy, the rest of his family and loving circle of good friends. Throughout his life he was there to lend a helping hand to all who knew him. Don had an amazing talent for building and repairing just about anything and of course was happiest when working on one of his projects or assisting family and friends with theirs. Don grew up in Toronto and worked for Bell Canada until his early retirement at age 55 while simultaneously running a rubber stamp business out of his basement. Following his retirement from Bell he ventured into renovations, working with his good friend Lorne for many years to follow. Don was truly blessed to be married to his best friend for 64 wonderful years. He and Joyce were inseparable, enjoying their family, large circle of friends and traveling extensively together for many years. We will all miss him so much.

Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) for visitation on Monday July 30th, 2018 from 6-8p.m. A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday July 31, 2018 at 11a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. If desired, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
