It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Don McQuarrie on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the age of 94. Reunited with his wife and soul mate Ruth and survived by his sister Margaret Crook. Loving father to Paul (Jo), Kathy (Lorne), and John (Mary Ann). Grandfather to Emily (Jarret), Annie (Dan), Josh (Emily), Amy (Ismet), Tara (Rob) and Maya (Mark) and great grandfather to Ashley, Emily, Reese, Brooke, Cooper, Carys, Jade and Kerem.
He will be deeply missed.
At Don's request there will be no funeral.

We were sorry to hear of Don's passing. He has lived a long and most fortunate life surrounded by his loving family. He is reunited with Ruth who he clearly missed for the years since she passed on. We share your sadness but remember he lives on in each of you and the love he gave to all of you. We will miss hearing of the conversations he had with Paul so often. It was always fun to rekindle whenever there was a family event and see him again. He always remembered and reflected pleasantly with us.
