In memory of

Donald A. R. Brown

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Don Brown - a wonderful husband, father, brother, cousin, colleague and friend - after a brave fight with cancer. Born in Toronto, the son of the late Allan and Mary Brown, he died peacefully there at the age of 66. Loving husband of Judy, and adored father of Kimberly. Cherished brother of Mary-Lou (Ed Simac) and Robert (Kathy Bleho). A devoted and generous uncle to his nieces and nephews, he was also a caring brother-in-law.

Raised and educated in Montreal, Don was a hockey dad to Kimberly as well as a long-time Beaches resident, VIA Rail employee, and Montreal Canadiens fan. He was an avid railway enthusiast and went on numerous train trips both here and abroad. He loved his family time, holidays in Mauritius, and the happy times he spent on the Robertson family farms at Kent Bridge, ON.

Visitation at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto on Friday, 5 May from 4 pm to 8 pm. Memorial service at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre on Saturday, 6 May at 2 pm. The family would like to thank the staff on 10N at Bridgepoint Hospital for their care and support.

In memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, the Princess Margaret Foundation or Brain Cancer Canada will be appreciated.

My deepest sympathy to Don’s family at this sad time
We were friends for almost 40 years
Don was the type of person who came out in a snowstorm and helped us move in when our
Moving truck did not arrive 10 days before Christmas.
Please take care of yourselves and each other during this difficult time
Love from ellen and family
