It is with profound sadness that the family of Jim Dedes announce his peaceful passing on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the age of 82 years.

Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Helen; children: Doreen (Tony) and Anna (Mark); grandchildren: Jessica, Jamie, Amanda, Rachel and Matthew; as well as numerous relatives, friends and neighbours.

Jim was a gentle and kind man who always had a smile on his face and made friends wherever he went. Jim will be remembered for his passion of flowers and plants. Jim would spend hours tending to his beautiful garden and would stop his neighbours or anyone that walked by to proudly show off his labour of love. During his last few months, Jim could be seen sitting on his front veranda waving to people as they walked by.

The family would like to thank Dr. Blaise Clarkson and Dr. Nausheen Siddiqui for their exceptional care of Jim. The family would also like to thank the many nurses and personal support workers that took great care of Jim in his final days at home.
