It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our cherished and beloved father and grandfather, Dimitrios (Jimis) Skikos. He passed peacefully on September 6, 2025, at the age of 90.

Jimis was a loving and devoted husband to Christina for 61 years and cherished father to Rebecca (Chris) and Andy (Lisa). He was a proud and loving pappou to Nicholas (Pamela), Kristen, Christina, and Demitra.

Jimis was born in the village of Papari, Greece on February 10, 1935. He immigrated to Canada in 1964 where he met and married his beloved Christina. He was a hard-working man who took tremendous pride in his family. While Canada became home where he started and raised his family, he never forgot his roots and beautiful Greece. His passions included soccer, Greek dancing, backgammon, gardening and his daily coffee routine with friends. His greatest passion of all was his family.

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. He will be deeply missed by many friends, near and far, all who know him. We love him dearly and may he rest in peace.

May his memory always be eternal, and may his legacy continue to bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
