Dennis Masuda, 79, of Toronto, Ontario, died peacefully in his sleep on November 10, 2025.

He was born in 1946 to Haru and Suyekichi in the Tashme Internment Camp for Japanese Canadians. In his youth, Dennis was an avid football and hockey player. He graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science degree before working first in the pharmaceutical industry, then in the public service. In his retirement he enjoyed time with his family and friends, travel, bowling, and, of course, his favourite hobby of fishing.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife and children.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the dedicated doctors, nurses, personal support workers, and staff at Mount Sinai Hospital, Ontario Health at Home, and VHA for their compassion and support throughout Dennis’ care.
