In memory of

Denis Gray

June 13, 1949 -  October 19, 2017

Denis had been battling Lung Cancer since July of 2016 and on Thursday October 19th, 2017 at the age of 68 with loved ones by his side he ended his battle peacefully at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Site. He will be missed by his beloved wife Linda Jean Gray, their daughter Kimberly Winiarski, his son in law Kevin Winiarski as well as his grand daughters Kathryn and Sarah Winiarski. He is also survived by his sister Shirley Boyle and brother in law Robbie Boyle, sister Jean Harris (Gray) sister in law Betty Gray, sister in law Elsie Gray as well as his mother-in-law Helen Crossman, many nieces, nephews, friends and Linda’s brothers and sisters.

He believed in us, protected us, was proud of us, shouted at us, strengthened us, but most of all he loved us unconditionally. There aren’t enough words to describe what our father means to us and what an influence he still has on our life. It takes a special man to be a father and a dad.

Dad we love you so much even through the toughest of times, and we will miss you. We now take comfort in the laughter and your sick sense of humour to get us through this time as we know you would not want us to stand and weep.

We would like to thank everyone for their support as well as the doctors and nurses on 6J at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Site for comfort and caring during his time there.

The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 from 6pm to 9pm for a Celebration of Life at The Simple Alternatives Funeral Centre in Mississauga located 1535 South Gateway Road Mississauga, ON L4W 5J1

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society can be made online or at the funeral home.
