It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Deb; our dear sister, aunt, niece and friend. Predeceased by her parents Enid and Abbott Cooper and her sister Jill Newberry. Deb will be lovingly remembered by her sister Sharon (Bob Galloway), her nieces, nephews, aunt Joan Lago and special friend Chris Gorman. A visitation will be held on Saturday January 13th, 2018 from 1:00pm until the graveside Burial at 2:00pm at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre and Cemetery (375 Mount Pleasant Road). In lieu of flowers donations to the CNIB (Guide Dog Program) in honour of Deb would be appreciated by the family.

I'm very saddened to hear of the passing of Deb, my neighbour. She was very thoughtful, especially throughout the time of illness at my house. I'll think of Deb whenever I'm planting tomatoes again! RIP Deb.

So sad to hear the news, Deb, or "Coop" as we called her was a dedicated and keen baseball and ice hockey player and I have fond memories of her making us laugh in the dugout or dressing room and can still see her chuckling at her own joke. Sending my love to her family, she was a kind dear hearted soul and will be missed.
