Passed away peacefully at Ian Anderson House in Oakville on Tuesday July 19, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Beloved wife of Sharon (nee Cox) for over 50 years. Loving Father to Jeff, Kurt (Jeanette), Jill (Mike), Nicole (Chris), Leah and Tine. Cherished Grandfather to Kyle, Matthew, Austin, Josh, Kevin, Lauren, Alexis, Brandon and Jordan.

David will be dearly missed by his family, many friends and grand fur babies. Survived by his younger sister Linda McNeil.

Memorial donations in David’s name can be made to the Ian Anderson House, and would be greatly appreciated by the family

Words fail to express my deep sorrow for your loss . Dave will always be remembered for his smile , laugh , caring soul , would give you the shirt off his back , and the many , many , sayings that made him the unique person he was. He is my brother in law , he walked me down the aisle on my wedding day , don’t know who was more nervous him or me , he had a bottle in the car said Lin let’s have a shot , we did to calm ourselves. Living next door to Dave and Sharon for 19 years has been wonderful. Many many memories of front porch talks into the wee hours of the morning with Dave. His humor, belly laugh and crazy sayings made us laugh and the memory will stay with us always. You are sorely missed Dave by all of us. May you always continue to give the Yeovil salute wherever you are.
