David Murray

March 16, 1939 -  April 10, 2018

Murray, David passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Brampton Civic Hospital after a long and hard-fought battle with Dementia on Tuesday April 10, 2018. Beloved husband of Lily for over 56 years. Loving father of Eleanor (Ted). Cherished brother of Margaret (Donald), Albert (Anne). Devoted Uncle of Gordon (Angela), Donna (Mike), Susan (and the late Robert), Karen (Calum), Murray (Karen).

David was born in Glasgow Scotland and came to Canada in 1965 where he and Lily established their new life. He will be fondly remembered and forever missed by all his family and many friends.

David was a life long Glasgow Rangers Supporter and was very involved in the Glasgow Rangers Supporters club, first in the Toronto Branch and then in the Bramalea Branch. David was also instrumental in forming NARSA (North American Rangers Supporters Association) 25 years ago.

David has been a member of the Masonic lodge for over 50 years and was also a founding member of Ibrox Lodge # 740, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Canada.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society Peel - Evelyn's Day program, would be appreciated by the family.
