In memory of

David Lloyd Ball

September 24, 1940 -  April 2, 2025

David Ball of Mississauga, born September 24 1940, passed away April 2,2025 in his 85th year, at the McCall center for continuing care with his niece Nancy at his side. David had enjoyed a long career with Canada Post delivering parcels, receiving awards of
exemplary conduct and having a spotless, accident free driving record throughout his career. As well as a perfect attendance record, his work ethic was commended by his superiors at Canada post. David was proud to display his many awards and gifts in his home.
David will be remembered by his family as a kind, gentle soul who enjoyed puzzles and WWE wrestling matches. David has persevered through each health crisis these last several years with staunch stoicism saying a few weeks ago, that this is just one more thing (health crisis) to overcome. Through these last several years, David greatly enjoyed visits from his dear friend Joyce and also his cousin Cliff, with his wife Peg. David was predeceased by his parents Stewart and Ada Ball, and his brother John (Gun). Left to mourn are John’s children Nancy Botelho (Joe), Stephen Ball (Lisa), and Karen Ball (Ron), with their children Gavin Gilmour (Chantalle), Amelia and Zoe Botelho, and Harper Ball. Gavin’s children Murphy and Riley gave David great joy to watch them in the videos shared with him in hospital.
May he now rest in peace, his suffering over.
Arrangements for cremation have been made by Meadowvale Funeral Centre. A Service of Remembrance to occur Saturday April 12, 2025 at 1pm in the chapel at Balls Cemetery, 82228 Base Line, Auburn, followed by interment of cremated remains, then fellowship at Gun’s home 318 Eldon St. Goderich.

David has been a very dear cousin for over 80 years. We had countless great times as children growing up and having fun on our grandparents farm at Littlewood, ON. David is a very kind and considerate person who loved nature and the beauty of the outdoors. He will be truly missed for his warm smile and pleasant personality. God Bless David
