It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of David Watson, in his home on the morning of April 6th, 2023 at the age of 60.

Son of Sandra and the Late David Watson. Son-in-law of the Late Margaret and the Late John Hawboldt.
Nephew of the Late Alan & Pam.
Brother of Jane & the Late Bruce Blenkarn, Keith, Carol Ann & Gary Rock.
Brother-in-law of Patricia & Ronald Irving, the Late John & Christina, Esther & the Late Patrick Trail, Jason (Paula).
Uncle of Jason (Angela), the Late Steven, Matthew (Ashika), Shannon, Jennifer (Peter), Corrina (Joey), Cassandra (Kayla), Alan (Lisette), Lisa (Johnny), Christopher (Kirsten), Lesley (Rickie), Hillary (Justin), Johnathan, Jeremy, Tyler, Peyton, Kaitlyn & Emmett.
Great Uncle of Shelby, Benjamin, Alec, Jaymie, Jake & Amelia.
As a teenager, David started working at Canadian Tire Corporation, kick starting his 35-year career. He was a loyal employee and prided himself in never missing a day of work.
David was a fun spirited soul with many passions. Driveway mechanic, home reno guru and backyard garden master are just a few. Most notably, he was an avid sports fan - if it had a ball or a puck, he was all in. The sports he loved the most were the ones he shared with his kids. Watching and coaching his kids brought him endless joy.
Travel adventures to the south and the East Coast, whether with family or friends, always included a beach, salty air and a tacky tourist shirt.
His love of Springsteen was introduced by his Uncle Alan and if Springsteen was in town, it was a given that David would be there.
David had a smile that always made you feel welcome. He was truly one of a kind, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on Thursday, April 13th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. at North Bramalea United Church. A livestream of the service can be accessed by following this link: https://vimeo.com/event/3298377/1a1fb6ca29
