In memory of

David Gaston Harrison

July 27, 1960 -  July 8, 2025

Surrounded by his family, David passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, just weeks shy of his 65th birthday. Born on July 27, 1960, David lived a life marked by unwavering love, quiet strength, and profound devotion to those around him.

David was the beloved son of the late Samuel and Esther Harrison, and a dear brother to Kathleen (Wayne), the late Ronald (Sandra), Agnes (Gerry), Jeannie (Bill), Jimmy, Georgie (Danny), Samuel (Margie), Annie (Dave), and Eleanor (Steve). His family was the cornerstone of his life, in which he shared a strong bond with them.

He was a loving father to Katie (Tom) of New Zealand and the proud grandfather of Oscar and Arthur. His heart belonged wholly to Giselle, the love of his life, whose companionship and warmth filled his days with meaning and grace.

David also known as 'Uncle DD' was dearly loved by all of his nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

David's presence and humor left lasting impressions on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Whether sharing a quiet moment or offering a helping hand, he brought light and comfort to the lives around him.

A special thank you to the staff at ICU East Wing at Humber River Hospital.

A Celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday July 19th from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre in Pickering. Speeches will be between 12:00pm - 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Humber River Regional Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids Hospital).
