It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Joseph Gallant, affectionately known as Dave, who left us on October 7, 2025, at the age of 61.

Dave will be lovingly remembered by his partner, Darlene, and his son, Austin. He is survived by his brothers Maurice (Sue), Victor (Mary), and Philip (Trish). Uncle Dave will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, and he cherished the close bonds he shared with his cousins and lifelong friends. Dave was predeceased by his parents, Adrian and Eunice.

Born on January 29, 1964, in Toronto, Dave was known for his infectious sense of humor, his unwavering love for the Toronto Maple Leaf’s and his passion for playing baseball and golf. His laughter and stories brought joy to all who knew him.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at a later date.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the light he brought into every room.
