David Arnott Wilson died peacefully, at the age of 78, on Saturday September 30, 2023, at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. Beloved husband of Catharina and a great father for their daughter, Eileen.
Son of Arnott and Edith Wilson (deceased). Brother of Mike (Marjorie deceased), Steve (deceased) Isobel, Rob (Janet deceased), Roy, Nora, and Pat (Ben deceased). Brother-in-law to Trudy (Joe), Helen (Rob), Maria (Frank), Martin (Elizabeth), Joanne (Mike deceased), Lucy (Frank), Bernadette (Stewart), and John. David will be missed by all his family and friends.
David, after 31 years of service as an immigration officer for the Government of Canada, retired in December 2003. David enjoyed the study of nature and music. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, gardening, travelling, and exploring the national, provincial, and local parks.
A Memorial Service for David Arnott Wilson will be held on Wednesday, November 15 in the Chapel at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, Ontario, M1K 1R1. Phone 416-267-8229.
