“Always a Yorkshireman”

Passed away in Toronto on March 27, 2018 at Baycrest Centre, Palliative Care Unit. His proudest achievement was the establishment of a successful retirement and financial planning business, while in his thirties and early forties. His quick wit and sense of humour never left him despite many physical and mental health challenges throughout his later years.
Being a Yorkshireman, he enjoyed his beer, a habit not always approved of by Ida, his wife of 35 years, who always worried about his well-being. Time spent in nature was an important part of their life together.
Besides Ida, David leaves behind family in England and Germany, as well as a small but loyal group of friends in Canada. There will be no public service. Donations in David’s memory may be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation or a charity of your choice.
