Danny William Pye suddenly passed away, in his 63rd year, on February 4, 2017, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Kenneth of Bedford, Nova Scotia and Dorine (Andrunyk) of Cochrane. Loving husband and soulmate of Rosanne(nee Calarco) and wonderful father of Ashley and Richard. Dear brother of Terry(Laurie) and Tim(Michelle). Son in law of Leonard and Giulia Calarco of Hamilton. Brother in law of Gio, Carmelisa(Ken Breuwer) and Robert. Danny will be dearly missed by his neice, nephews, relatives and friends. GM retiree January 2017 after 43 years of service. Those who knew Danny will remember him as a NASCAR fan that also enjoyed fishing, camping and the great outdoors. As per his own wishes, there will be no formal funeral service, cremation will take place. Arrangements entrusted to THORNTON CREMATORIUM AND FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Rd North, Oshawa ON (905-579-6787). In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted for the Canadian Cancer Society.
