In memory of

Danielle Cody

February 8, 1972 -  November 23, 2020

It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Danielle Mireille Cody cherished daughter, sister and aunt. Danielle left us too soon on November 23, 2020, aged 48 years. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her father Michael Cody, sisters Michelle Cody and Colleen Cody and brother in law Dwight Trotter. Cherished aunt of Sean and Liam Trotter. She will also be greatly missed by extended family, former colleagues and friends.

A graduate of OCAD Industrial Design, Danielle was a talented artist and connoisseur of all things beautiful. Danielle was an avid gardener with a thriving garden. She was a voracious reader consuming books on all topics. She would continually amaze with obscure knowledge on the esoteric. She possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of the city’s best pastry and tea shops. We will miss her candid though never unkind observations. Danielle taught us the value of small acts of kindness. She will be remembered as a beautiful, kind, gentle soul, patient and generous friend.

In honor of Danielle, take a moment on a beautiful summer afternoon go down to Toronto’s Leuty Beach, have a seat, close your eyes, feel the warmth of the sun, listen to the waves. This was her favourite place. She will be there in spirit to share it with you.
Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
