November 5, 1930 - December 2, 2016

Daniel Wilson, 86 of Toronto, Canada passed away peacefully on Friday December 2, 2016 surrounding by family. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, son Murray and daughters Avril and Diane. Beloved brother to Helen (New Zealand), Irene (England), Ian (Scotland), May (USA), Roberta (New Zealand) and Margaret (Australia). Brother-in-Law to Cecily (Scotland), Bill (USA), David (Australia), Alec (Canada), Fraser (Scotland) and Irene (Scotland). He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and friends.

A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday December 10, 2016 from 11 am to 1 pm at York Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, North York, ON M2N 5Z5. Please come share afternoon tea and your favourite memories of Daniel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Robyn and Nicholas Senior (Mother of honorary grandson)

I am so glad the my son Nicholas was able to provide pleasure to Daniel Wilson .
He enjoyed spending time with him and Mr Wilson adopted him as a grandson .
Avril and her siblings were dedicated to thier father and what ever comfort Nicholas gave him was with a pure love that only a child like Nicholas could give .
I truly know what the loss of a father feels like. My heartfelt condolences to the family .
