In memory of

Daniel Alan Niddery

February 26, 1953 -  July 15, 2025

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Daniel Alan Niddery, beloved husband, father, Nonno, brother, Zio, and friend, who left us on the morning of Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in Toronto the city where he was born and spent his life. Born on February 26, 1953, Daniel built a wonderful and meaningful life filled with love, laughter, and community. His career in commercial insurance was marked by professionalism, integrity, and a warm nature that left a lasting impression on clients and colleagues alike.
Beyond his career, Daniel was a man of great energy, passion, and adventure. He had a deep love for travel, and an adventurous spirit that carried him near and far always eager to explore new places, connect with people, and experience life to the fullest. He also had a passion for cycling, paddling, pickleball, swimming, and running. He constantly pushed himself to grow, always striving to reach his full potential and be the best he could be.
Known for his heart of gold, quick wit, and undeniable charisma, Daniel could light up any room with his presence. His humor, kindness, and generosity made everyone feel seen, welcome, and loved. He took great joy in the little things dancing, spending time with friends and family, singing his signature operatic "Happy Birthday," or lifting someone's spirits with a thoughtful word or a perfectly timed joke. He had a gift for making people feel good and possessed a rare kind of magic that touched countless lives.
Daniel leaves behind his beloved wife, MaryAnn Capone, his cherished son Dana, daughter-in-law Marie-Eve, and his adored grandchildren Leo and Nico, who brought him immense pride and joy. His love for his family was boundless, and his legacy of warmth, humor, and strength will live on through them.
He will be missed more than words can express, but his memory will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
