Our mother, Dr. Dalal Mikhail, a professor emeritus at the Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University, and former Chair of the Accounting Department, was a trailblazer in her generation. She earned her master’s and PhD, forging a remarkable academic career. She authored numerous papers and books, significantly contributing to her field. Her teachings impacted hundreds, as evidenced by the many heartfelt testimonies we’ve received over the years. Alongside our late father, she devoted her life to raising us with immense love and care, extending her unconditional love to her grandchildren as well. Her dedication to her family and her remarkable academic achievements left a lasting impact on us and on many lives.
