Dai Hong (Brandon) Chung

August 16, 1970 - May 24, 2016

Brandon Chung peacefully passed away on May 24, 2016 after embracing life to the fullest. His battle with lung cancer was a long one, but one that Brandon courageously fought until the end. Beloved husband of 13 years to his wife, Carol and cherished father to his children Tyler and Lucas, who are blessed with his everlasting love. Loving son of Tu and Nu, he is survived by his parents and sisters Kim, Mimi and her husband Chris, Melissa and her husband Ron, Melain and Samantha. Uncle to his nephew Tobey and nieces Charlotte, Cassandra, Tiffany and Maggie. Brandon will be fondly remembered by all. Friends and family will be received at York Cemetery at 160 Beecroft Road, North York on Monday, May 30th between 9 - 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society be made in Brandon's memory. His life will be forever celebrated.

Every time I listen to George Michael WHAM, I think of Brandon. He loved Careless Whisperer, Wake Me Up, Freedom, Faith, Edge of Heaven...All of it. He would sing along to all the corny lyrics ..the more romantic the better. YouTube it and give it a listen and remember him. Hope this link works

My sister Melissa, Brandon and I share the same birthday month so one summer we all took a few days off and decided to do something we each love together. We went horseback riding (my fave), go karting (Melissa's fave) and golfing (Brandon's fave). Good times to be cherished forever.

When Brandon was a child he would pick candy off the street and put it in his mouth. He loved to climb trees. He loved the maple leafs, raptors and the blue jays. ...huge sports fan which we all couldn't understand. He had a No Smoking sign hung on his rear view mirror in case any of his passengers forget about his policy. He is a real person.
